Used Ferrari – It Has Become Easier to Afford One
Ferrari was founded way back in 1929 but believe it or not the original plan wasn’t to produce road legal vehicles. In fact at the beginning Ferrari sponsored drivers and produced racing cars very much like they do today in Formula 1. Enzo Ferrari was very reluctant to design and manufacture a Ferrari that was road legal but over the past few decades it has enabled thousands of people to own and drive a supercar.
In recent years it has become easier in terms of affordability to own a Ferrari. This is mainly because more people have purchased a Ferrari and eventually these cars are sold onto the second hand car market. Don’t be fooled though second hand Ferraris are still more expensive than most new cars produced by other manufacturers even the likes of Mercedes Benz and Porsche. One of the most affordable Ferrari’s is the Modena priced at around £40,000 depending on the age and condition of the car. However certain pre-owned Ferrari’s have actually increased in price due to the limited number of models that were made. Used Ferrari’s don’t depreciate that much which is great news in some ways for second hand owners because you could sell the car a few years later with a limited amount of loss. (more…)
