Is there any possibility of cars running by water as its fuel or by substituting gas with water?

If the answer to the above question is “Yes”, then another basic question may arise.

Can this device be built by a normal person?

In fact, the answer for this question is also “Yes”. This is very much possible. Many experiments have been done successfully by most of the automobile researchers. Several people all over the globe have been successful in making fully functional hydrogen generator modules.

Hydrogen generators can even be made by you with a simple DIY guide. The HHO gas is popularly known as Brown’s gas. Your engine’s end is fed with Brown’s gas, in parallel with the fuel that you have been using. This creates better burning, clean and environmentally safe source of fuel.

The most important benefit provided by this mechanism apart from significant increase in gas mileage is the truth that the hydrogen generator module brings forth car engine’s longevity of survival with it. The cars run smoothly with tremendous power at the same time.

Many people do not wish the common man to know about this method though it has been in use covertly by many for nearly hundred years. It would be very difficult for the government to levy tax on water. Business houses would not be able to bring forth another revolutionary technology when you can do the best effort for less than 65 dollars.

Let us not worry much. In fact we can make our own hydrogen generator modules and get going without the need of other technologists to manufacture the module for us. This will help us saving a lot of money which in turn help in procuring conventional fuel.

Using this technology, people have been able to get 35-250% increase in the mileage of vehicles. Hydrogen generator modules are very simple and cheap to construct. You will be very much satisfied since you not only save your money but also take part in maintaining a clean environment.

If you are really sick of paying high electric bills, I will show you how to successfully reduce them by the usage of natural and renewable sources of energy. Get a natural powering system at a cheaper rate, decreasing electric dependency and thereby turning to green energy solutions. Check out Home Made Energy Reports website now!

The Toyota Camry is consistently among the best selling automobiles each year. The car sells quite well because of its strong reputation or reliability and above average fuel efficiency compared to other cars in its class. The 2010 Toyota Camry comes with various engine and transmission options which affect its fuel efficiency.

The Camry is most commonly purchased with a 4 cylinder and 2.5 liter engine, which when coupled with an automatic transmission get an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimated 22 miles per gallon in the city and 32 miles per gallon on the highway. When coupled with a manual transmission, fuel efficiency improves very slightly.

For someone looking for a little bit more power out of their sedan, the 2010 Toyota Camry can be upgraded to include a 6 cylinder and 3.5 liter engine which is automatically coupled with an automatic transmission. The larger engine in the Camry can generate more horsepower and torque, but fuel efficiency takes a noticeable decline. The version of the sedan with the more powerful V6 engine gets and EPA estimated 19 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway.

For those looking to maximize their fuel efficiency, the 2010 Toyota Camry comes with an optional hybrid engine. The hybrid engine is a 4 cylinder and 2.4 liter engine which comes standard with an automatic transmission. The hybrid Camry gets an EPA estimate fuel efficiency of 33 miles per gallon in city driving and 34 miles per gallon when driving on the highway.

When it comes to buying a vehicle which is fuel and engine efficient plus environment friendly – you need to focus on the importance of oxygen sensors and air fuel ratio sensors. Oxygen sensors are also known as lambda sensors among car owners. The oxygen sensor is an extremely important electronic device which has one major task – to measure and calculate the amount of oxygen O2 in the liquid or in the gas that has been analyzed by it. This sensor is very important especially nowadays when we need to think about protecting and saving our planet because it helps the engine run efficiently and at the same time helps keeping the environment clean and protected.

Oxygen sensors have been invented during the late 60′s and the man who developed them was Dr. Gunter Bauman. Now that we are talking about protecting our environment, we need to mention another crucial part of every modern vehicle – air fuel ratio sensor. First of all let’s clarify what is an AFR or air fuel ratio? It is the mass ratio of air which normally fuels during a process of combustion. Oxygen sensors and air fuel ratio sensors are of great importance nowadays, because they help us measure the amount of pollution which is released while driving.

These sensors first appeared during the 60′s but have been improved and modernized in the late 90′s. Their current task and their most common application nowadays is crystal clear – they measure the concentration of O2 in the exhaust gas and it is related to cars, vehicles in general and of course all engines with internal combustion. Today, many drivers use these electronic devices to oxygen pressure and the amount in the breathing gas.
Whenever it comes to changing or servicing car parts leave nothing to amateurs and always work only with certified, professional and reliable mechanics. Certified car mechanics always have a huge range and a wide selection of oxygen and Air Fuel Ratio sensors for your vehicles. Once you visit them and decide to change these sensors always insist on buying only top class part, which have a full warranty and are brand new.

Buying new and original oxygen sensors and Air Fuel Ratio sensors is important for you safety and smoother driving experience but it is also very important for our environment (these parts are “in charge” of controlling and minimizing the pollution).

These sensors are considered to be a vital car part, for numerous reasons. Two most important ones are certainly: the fact that they help the car engine run more efficient and the fact that they point out to the level of pollution. Having new and reliable sensors is not just a matter of safety and drivers awareness, it is also a statement which shows that you care for the environment and invest in protecting our planet. Drive safely and stay focused on these environmental topics.

Gas is getting more and more expensive and if you have a long commute or if you just like to drive, the gas bill can become a burden.

Luckily there are a lot of ways to save gas without investing in a new car or in snake oil add-on kits. I’ll show you seven ways that are commonly available and easy to do.

1. MAINTAIN HIGH ENOUGH TIRE PRESSURE

Driving with under inflated tires is not only dangerous as the tires could overheat, it also uses more gas than inflated tires.

Inflate the tires to the maximum allowed by your cars manuals, and periodically check the pressure using a good pressure gauge.

Many hypermilers inflate their tires more than that, to the maximum pressure printed on the sidewalls of the tires themselves. This is often as much as 50 percent more than what the car manufacturer recommends and it will give additional gas savings due to lesser rolling resistance.

This comes at the cost of a harder more uncomfortable ride though. And I can’t recommend you outright to do this, even if it’s safe, as there is a possibility of uneven tire wear in some conditions.

2. REMOVE ROOF RACKS, SKI BOXES AND TRAILERS

If you thought it’s too much of a hassle to remove the roof rack or ski box when it’s not needed, think again! It’s the same thing if you drive a pick-up truck missing a flatbed cover or if you tow an empty trailer for no reason.

Anything added or tied to the outside of the vehicle disturbs the aerodynamics resulting in reduced fuel economy. Always remove roof racks, bicycle holders, ski boxes and trailers when not needed.

3. TURN OFF THE A/C

Despite what some would say the air conditioning unit is using a lot of energy and that energy is taken directly from your gas tank. If possible, turn it off. If that’s uncomfortable try setting it to a higher temperature as that will make it use less gas.

TIP: Park the car in the shadow, have the doors open for a minute before leaving, drive at night if going for a longer trip in hot weather.

Just keep in mind that driving fast with all windows open is worse for your gas mileage than using the A/C.

4. BECOME A BETTER DRIVER

The way you drive is one of the biggest factors affecting your fuel mileage. Refrain from breaking by letting your vehicle roll to a stop when you’re not in the way of other drivers, maintain a top speed below 60MPH or 100KM/H and don’t push the pedal to the metal when you accelerate.

5. WALK OR BIKE

Often if you’re not going that far, walking or biking is a healthy alternative, and it’s significantly more economic than using the car. Not only will you save fuel but you’ll also avoid the wear and tear on the car that can cost as much as the fuel itself.

6. FIX ANY FUEL LEAKS

Obviously if you have a fuel leak you will spill your hard earned gas on the ground costing you money and polluting the environment. Repair all fuel leaks as soon as you can.

TIP: If your gas cap is missing or broken and you live in a hot environment, especially if you park in the sun and the car gets really hot, a lot of gas will evaporate and escape through the missing or broken cap into the air. The loss can be sizable and the gas vapors harms the environment.

7. CAR POOL

Sharing the vehicle on the way to the job can feel like a fair amount of hassle compared to going by yourself but then you’ll save more using this ritual than using any of the others (except for biking of course).

Joining with just one other person to use the same car for your commute will save you almost half your monthly commuting cost.

MORE FUEL SAVING TIPS

The above tips are some of the easiest, most widely available, low cost ways to save lots of gas. And you don’t have to buy any new gadgets to do it.

There are many additional ways to improve your mpg. You can get a more fuel efficient vehicle (hybrid, diesel, smaller car), improve your driving style, improve your cars aerodynamics, use tires with a low rolling resistance, plan your trip, plan for extreme weather and much more that this article is too short to cover.

There’s also ways you could end up NOT saving fuel, like if you install on of those fuel saving gadgets advertised everywhere. These gadgets rarely saves you enough fuel to even cover the price of the gadget.

To keep track of your actual gas mileage you can use a handy online mpg calculator. You can also use the fuel mileage display of your car if it’s equipped with one.

Everyday we receive some sort of tip. A little tip to a large tip, but do we follow them? It all depends on the tip we receive. And it also depends on who is giving us the tip. Or, how important is the information that you are getting?

One of the important tips of today is saving money on fuel prices. The price of gas has rocketed beyond belief and is still climbing, so any tips on saving money on fuel prices is important. Some of those tips we receive on saving
money on fuel prices include:

- Use the fuel grade that your car calls for, not the highest grade
- Keep your engine in tune
- Make sure tires have right amount of air; not less and not more
- Try to avoid unnecessary driving-less traffic, less stop and start
- Try to avoid overloading the car with passengers or materials
- Watch your speed. Do not speed up and then slow down.
- Unload the car for less weight
- Roll down your windows and do not use air conditioner if possible
- No fast stepping on gas to rev your car up
- Idling your engine causes more use of gas
- Try to get more car pools going

These are a few of the tips for saving money on fuel prices. All of them should be implemented when considering the price of gas and how we can save money when running our vehicles. Another way to save money is when you are buying a new vehicle consider one that has better gas mileage. There are a lot of vehicles that are available now that can save gas with the mileage. Toyota and Mazda build some of the cars that get more mileage to the gallon of gas. Driving at a constant speed of 55 mph is also a good gas saver.

Tips could go on forever and ever, as there are so many. But following the tips is the question.

Maybe it is easier to not follow the tips and just complain about the gas prices. It really does not take much to follow the tips and get your vehicle in shape. It might even be easier to trade in the gas guzzler for one that is good on gas. Now that is a plan that would work. A new car out of the deal and one that saves money on fuel. Now that is a tip worth following.

As much as we all wish we did not have to drive cars because of the high cost of fuel, unless we want to ride bicycles or ride everywhere we go, we have little choice. Therefore, saving money of fuel prices has become of utmost importance to all of us. Since fuel for our cars takes up so much of our income each month, saving money on fuel prices can put a lot of money back in our pockets where it belongs.

One method of saving money on fuel prices that is appealing to many is the use of hybrid cars. I know, you think of flowers and plants when you hear the word hybrid. The word hybrid is use with plants to signify that they are top of the line. The same can be said about hybrid cars. While there are many things that make them unique, their ability to help with saving money on fuel prices is what makes them most popular with consumers.

Saving money on fuel prices is what hybrid cars do because of they use an electric motor along with a gas engine. Hybrid cars are any cars that use at least two different sources for its power. Hybrid cars are considered some of the greatest inventions by those in the automotive industry as well as owners of the cars. Before you rush out and purchase the first hybrid car, make sure you learn all you can learn about hybrid cars and what you can expect besides saving money on fuel prices. However, if good fuel economy is your top priority, you may want to start looking at hybrid cars for your next vehicle.

Hybrid have many advantages over our traditional gas engine vehicles, at the very least is their giving us help in saving money on fuel prices. Because less gas is being used because of the electric motor, the vehicle is driving much more energy efficient, which makes it more efficient in terms of cost as well as helpful to our environment because of the decreased amount of gas emissions.

Some of the new hybrid models made by Toyota and Honda have been give excellent reviews. Toyota Prius is said to have a mpg of 45 on the highway and 48 in the city, although drivers have stated their mileage to be anywhere from 31 to 61 mpg. The Prius is considered as one of the most environmentally friendly vehicles.

Tax credits for those buying hybrid cars have been another incentive for considering these unique energy efficient vehicles. Each credit is different depending on the hybrid you purchase. If you are considering a hybrid for you next vehicle, among other factors, look for the one with the best ability to help in saving money on fuel prices.

Unfortunately for British manufacturers they are lagging behind their European counterparts in Portugal, Spain and Denmark. Some of the car manufacturers have cut emissions by around five times more than the worst performing manufacturers which is a huge amount considering the need for each EU country to reduce the amount of CO2 their cars are emitting.

BMW are doing especially well from the cars that were sold during 2008 with them cutting emission levels by over 10% (the only manufacturer to hit double figures). One of the reasons they have done so well is that they have introduced efficiency methods into all their ranges. This is something that environmentalists are all urging other manufacturers to do in an attempt to reduce the average emission levels.

Peugeot-Citroen did not produce great improvement levels but this is mainly due to the fact they have been ahead of the field in terms of producing cars that are environmentally friendly for many years. They sit second in terms of average emissions behind Fiat. It is important that manufacturers improve their methods on CO2 emissions as by 2015; all new cars must have a CO2 emission level of less than 130g/km as an average across European fleets.

Some sceptics say that the reduce in emissions is due to the fact that people are using their cars less and that the fuel prices increases and economic instability have played a role. If this was the case however, we would have seen a drop for all manufacturers and not a selected few. More and more hybrid and electric cars are being manufactured at the moment so it is clear that all manufacturers are trying their upmost to hit the 2015 targets that have been set.

It is unknown how ‘green’ cars will fare in the future as they are still an unknown identity. How much will they devalue over time and how expensive will they be to repair? These are questions that many consumers will ask but the effects they have on the environment is enough to persuade many people to purchase one.

There are a range of used cars on the market at the moment so as a customer you can take your time to choose the right one for you. When looking for car dealers do not always buy from the first one you see as a better deal may be around the corner.

Fuel cards are available for the purchase of petrol and other fuels at filling stations across the country. They work by the owner holding an account that has to be paid either weekly or monthly. This then allows them to have credit to spend on fuel, which many people and companies prefer because it removes the need for using cash at stations and is far more secure.

So why would you want to use fuel cards? There are many benefits to them, starting with the discounts you can receive. If you own a company that uses a lot of petrol then an account like this will save you money in the long run. With the rising prices in petrol within this country then this really is a massive benefit for those that use a lot of fuel regularly. Another money saving incentive from fuel cards is that they allow the user to choose from all the different fuels, such as Shell, Esso, Texaco and Keyfuels. This also offers better pricing down to the competition in the fuel industry.

As mentioned previously, the security that comes with fuel cards is another massive selling point. This means company drivers eliminate the need to carry cash with them-which is often a security issue. Also this service also stops fraud, which is another attraction to companies that spend a lot of money on fuels. Other benefits include invoicing which will allow companies to keep up to date with their spending as well as being able to recover VAT Tax. Not only are fuel cards available in the UK but they can also be purchased for international use-which can be very useful when there is a language barrier.

So overall there are many reasons why your company may want to look into purchasing fuel cards, mainly for the financial benefits as well as providing security to your drivers. Finally, should you decide to get a fuel card make sure that you purchase one from a reputable seller, who will be able to offer you lots of information about your card and the terms and conditions. Most companies will be really helpful and able to answer any questions or concerns you may have about this way of buying fuel. Each month there is no limit to how much you spend on fuel although most companies recommend that you have an expenditure of around two hundred pounds a month.

Replacing the spark plug wires on your automobile can be quite beneficial to the operation of your vehicle. Replacing the wires can be quite simple if you know the correct steps to follow.

First, make sure the vehicle is turned off and the motor is not hot. Trying to perform this task with a hot motor can lead to burns or other serious injuries. When you are sure the motor is cooled and you are ready to start, lift up your hood and secure it in place. Locate your first spark plug wire, which should be attached to your motor. Most spark plug wires are either red, blue, orange, or black. More than often, it will be black. The number of sparks plug wires that your automobile contains usually transcribes with how many cylinders your engine has. For example, a 6-cylinder vehicle has 6 spark plug wires. Pull on the end of the wire, which is called the boot, until it comes off. Once detached, run your hand down the wire until you come to the other end. This end should be connected to your distributor cap. Pull on the boot until it once again, comes off.

Proceed to replace the old wire with a new one of the same length. You will be able to hear when the new wire attaches and is securely in place. It will make a popping noise. After this, continue on to the next wire, replacing all the old wires with new wires, one at a time. It is important to make sure you are replacing each old wire with a new one of the same length. Each spark plug wire has a designated length. It is estimated that for your car to operate at its optimum level, spark plugs should be replaced every 30,000 to 50,000 miles.

Remember: If bad spark plugs are present, your car may not start, run badly, misfire on occasion, or even burn more fuel than necessary. Follow these steps to keep spark plugs in good working condition.
