I love the idea of having cars. I never have less than two cars in my garage. I am a mechanic and love to mess about during my free time. While my wife does her household duties, I relax by taking care of my cars. Unfortunately, last year I purchased a faulty car and after doing my best to fix it I couldn’t. That is why I decided to sell it and buy a new one.

A week after the car sale was finished I went over to my mate for a cup of coffee. As I entered the yard, I saw the car of my dreams – Ford Cosworth. I was gob shut. Couldn’t say a word. I was so excited to see this piece of art. It looked like a limo – it was white and long, very spacious inside with leather interior. The extras and the features were numerous – separate air-conditioning for the passenger and the driver, heated seats, heated front mirror, electric side mirrors, electric windows, CD player and many more. It was automatic as well – that is one extra that every car should have. My mate said that this was the American version of Ford Scorpio Cosworth and that is why it is loaded with extras. I knew my wife would be impressed with it. Although, the car was amazing from outside and inside, what was more interesting to me was the engine. I could not wait to see what was under the bonnet. And there it was – the Cosworth engine. It was a real piece of art. As you may know, Cosworth engines are produced for Formula 1 cars. You can imagine the speed Ford Scorpio has with that engine under the bonnet. It simply said on top of it 24V. That in addition with the automatic A4LDE gearbox unlocks the ”need for speed”.

After examining the car thoroughly, I sat down with my mate sharing my wishes to purchase one of them. To my biggest surprise, he said he was selling it, as he needed the cash. The offer he made me was fantastic and I couldn’t resist. I called my wife over to ask what she thinks, though I knew the answer. She loved it. She insisted on paying a deposit and leaving with it. I took her for a test drive. It is comfortable, extremely fast and stable.

It is amazing how Ford Scorpio Cosworth is a car that combines comfort and speed. It is spacious and thus it is a great family car. It combines the male dream of a stable and safe fast car and women’s dreams of luxury and space. I knew I have made the best purchase so far (car wise) and I even sold my other car and left only Ford Scorpio in the garage.
