Quad Biking In Brighton For a Stag Weekend
With easy access from London by Train, and car access from the M23 and A23, Brighton is a great coastal resort to spend your stag weekend. With its pier and pebble beach it is a classic UK holiday resort where you can get away from your daily routing and have fun on your last weekend of freedom. If you and the guys are looking for some adrenaline action within the city of Brighton and Hove, you might also want to consider partnering this destination with the fun activity of quad biking!
Why Brighton?
Nestled on the south east coast in East Sussex, Brighton has long been a popular holiday resort for the people of Britain. In the 18th century people would visit Brighton for the purported healing properties of the sea air, and after the railway was built it became even more popular for people to visit for the day due to the close proximity of London. Today Brighton is a vibrant and bustling town a with a cosmopolitan feel due to the many different cultures that live together in the area. Brighton is still popular with people visiting during the day with a regular direct service to London Victoria train station that takes less than an hour. Brighton is popular with stag and hen parties and many areas such as West Street, are home to lively bars and clubs that appeal to these groups. There are popular chained pubs in this area such as Yates’s, Wetherspoons and Walkabout and there is the large club Oceana which is a popular chain of super clubs within the UK.
Why Quad Biking?
Quad bikes, or All Terrain Vehicles as they are also known, are very popular for stag party activities. The driver sits and controls the bike much like a motorbike, but four wheels give increased stability at reduced speeds. What this means is that these vehicles have the power and agility to traverse challenging landscapes. Quad biking is a fun day time activity and very popular with stag groups who are often amazed at what these machines can do. It is great fun trekking through forest, fields or quarries on these bikes and going through muddy ditches and puddles. If you choose this activity prepare to get a bit dirty!
What can you expect?
At a quad biking activity centre you will be briefed on safety and issued with protective clothing and helmets. Once the instructor is happy that all members in the stag group can handle their machines adequately, your group will be led out onto a course. The course might be a natural track or it could be a man-made course with different bumps, curves and obstacles to combat. You will then get chance to put your quad bike to the test. It’s worth bearing in mind that if it has been raining there’s a good chance you will get muddy, so make sure you have comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty!
