Driving is something we all have to face when we are stepping out of childhood and into adulthood. We all are going to have to go through getting our learners permit and finally, our license. Whether we are scared, excited, or just unemotional about getting our privilege to learn to drive, there are a lot of pointers you could use to make your whole driving experience safer and more successful. You won’t be getting any awards for it just like you wouldn’t get any NKY plaques or Florence t-shirts, but you will get the satisfaction of being able to be independent from your parents finally. The following are some tips to be good at driving so you can cruise anywhere.

One of the first things you need to do while driving is always drive defensively. You must drive like you can’t trust the other drivers on the road. Assume that all of them might do anything wrong at any second. This way, you will be able to anticipate their wrong moves at any time. You would also never be caught off guard so there will be fewer accidents or even none. When you get to a green light in an intersection, a busy one at that, make sure that you always check to see if any one will come driving through and run the stop light. This often happens and is one of the leading causes of car accidents each year. So to stay away from this, you must set your defenses at all time and not let yourself get carried away with the new found freedom of driving. Continue reading ‘The Key to Good Driving’ »

When people are looking to buy a car they look for the best choice and often times the best price. Many people have begun using auto brokers and other methods because of the low wholesale prices that they receive on their vehicles. Wholesale cars generally have the best prices but usually individuals cannot just go out themselves and purchase a car at wholesale value. People should generally start with some well founded research in order to find vehicles at these great prices due to the fact that usually wholesale vehicles are not offered to the general public. These cars are available to car dealerships but generally once they purchase the vehicles they generally increase the price.

Auto brokers have sprung up and they offer to search through various auctions in order to find the vehicle that the customer is looking for at the lowest price possible. As mentioned before wholesale cars are generally offered at private auctions, and auto brokers that are legitimate and licensed have access to these auctions. They are able to purchase the vehicles at great wholesale prices which they are able to offer to their customers. The great thing about auto brokers is that since they do not deal with dealerships or any outside groups they do not mark the cars up to make a profit so individuals are able to purchase their dream vehicle at wholesale price. The only additional fee that the customer occurs is the cost of the auto broker which is figured in with the price of the vehicle. It has not been not long since Honda announced that production would cease on the Honda S2000. The news was declared in January after poor sales continued to get worse.

The main and most successful marketplace for the S2000 was in America where it enjoyed great success in the early years. It was originally launched in 1999 to celebrate Honda’s 50th anniversary. However, sales of the roadster began to dramatically fall in 2006 and the trend continued year on year. Continue reading ‘A Goodbye to the Honda S2000’ »

In a world that has become increasingly concerned with conservation, my life has become saturated by indecision and doubt. I can’t even throw a Banana peel in the bin without my girlfriend shouting at me that I need to compost it / recycle it / staple it to the fridge. I fully appreciate that climate change is real and not just a phenomenon dreamed up to repress us, but it does seem to revolve around a system of guilt. If I don’t compost the aforementioned Banana peel then the rainforest will disappear. If I don’t put the recycling out then the Earth will turn into a flaming, gaseous molten rock. See what I mean? I’m wracked with guilt 24/7.

One of the main arguments the ‘Green Set’ have is with those of us who own and operate cars. Unless you drive an emission-free, electric, bubble car then there are going to be those who take it as an affront against them and point at you shouting “Planet Killer!” as you drive past. This isn’t ideal and if possible I would rather avoid it. Continue reading ‘They Will Hail Me As an Eco-Warrior – Buying a Honda Jazz’ »

Cash For Clunkers, otherwise known as CARS (Car Allowance Rebate System) is a Federally funded program paid for with American tax dollars even though the products of foreign manufacturers qualify for the rebates as well. It was designed for two purposes;

1) To stimulate the economy by reducing new car inventories and

2) To increase overall gas mileage figures by removing older, less efficient vehicles from service. Continue reading ‘Cash For Clunkers’ »

This is an easy question to explain. The reason why the government has cars to auction is because of raids on criminals, repossessions, confiscations due to back taxes and other reasons for impounding vehicles. The government does not want to hold onto this seized property. They are interested in recouping the monies that they have spent or are owed. So this is a good way to both help the government and get yourself a quality car all at the same time. These cars can be sold at ridiculously low prices.

A fraction of new car prices is what you can expect to pay when you are participating in government auctions. These cars are all clean and have clean titles so that you can virtually sign and drive if you are the winner of the auction. These auctions are happening all the time all over the US. Gov-auctions.org is certainly one of the best website providing government car auction services. They give you access to details of thousands of live Government and public auctions across the US, saving you many hours of research in locating reputable “offline/live” and “online” Government related auctions relevant to and available in your area. It is almost impossible to say what Audi TT cars are…There is too much style, charm and soul built into it that simple words, technical details or even a poem could express. Some things emerge from the nature. TT is nimble like cat, shaped like a sea shell and charming like a partner you can spend lifetime with. Some say it’s short on power, but it’s more in the grip it’s four wheel drive provides. Like a cat clings to the tree, TT will cling to the road and will not let go. So, all the power goes where it should. To move you forward. To guide you through the steepest curves you can imagine. Just like a good partner would do… Continue reading ‘Audi TT Cars – Love at the First Sight’ »
